BUYING A USED CAR?

We don't usually do endorsement write-ups, however, where we feel there's justification and that its to the distinct advantage of (English speaking) expats in Kuwait, we like to at least point you in that right direction. This is what we have to say about the Bosch workshop.

One of our vehicles had to go for a specific German manufactured part and we were pointed to Bosch. They are just down the road from Kuwait Finance House (which itself is opposite the Ford dealer!). This what we found:
*British manager David Bamber is readily available to all clients and provides excellent personal service.
*Generous sized and spaced work bays (6 or 7 of them?) where the risk of door dings are really minimized.
*A clean, professionally kitted workshop - very impressive.
*Pleasant, well mannered technicians who are willing to take time explaining the problem(s) on your vehicle.
*A comfy lounge area that is not over populated!

In conversation with David, he elaborated on another service they provide which we think is unique in Kuwait (let us know if you think we're wrong!) - a fair priced, proper, and honest check over for a car in case you're planning to buy a used vehicle or if you're selling and need the car "sorted". Each problem will be explained to you, and they will even give you an indication of costs associated, and the "severity" of the repair. One thing he pointed out was that ultimately it remains the client's choice whether or not to buy the vehicle, they simply provide a decent checklist of possible problem points on the vehicle.
