The Kuwait Textile Arts Association (KTAA)
Under the auspices of Sadu House
Who we are:-
The KTAA is a multinational non profit organization whose membership is open to anyone interested in textile and fiber arts.
We provide:-

Monthly meeting with lectures and presentations by local and international experts in different fields of textile arts. |

|
Textile art classes and workshops from beginners to advanced. |
|
|
Special interest groups including a well established Quilt Group and a newly formed Yarn and Fiber Group. |
|
|
An annual exhibition for members to display their work. |
|
|
An annual bazaar to give members the opportunity to sell their work. |
|
|
A lending library of books related to textile arts. |
|
|
Cultural tours in Kuwait and abroad |
Fees:-
|
|
Membership 10KD per season |
|
|
Guest fee 2KD per meeting |
|
|
An additional 5KD per season is required for the Quilt Group |
Monthly lectures are held a Sadu House (doors open 6.30pm):-
|
|
1st Tuesday of the month form October to December |
|
|
2nd Tuesday of the month form January to June |
|
|
Quilt Group meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month |
|
|
Yarn Group meets 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month |
The monthly General Meeting with Lecture is held at Sadu House on Arabian Gulf Street, on the corner of the National Museum, Kuwait City on the 1st Tuesday of the month from October to December and 2nd Tuesday of the month from January to June. Doors open at 6.30pm.

Quilt Group meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month starting on the 9th of September with a morning or evening group. The venue varies.
